OKUMHLOPHE
E-COMMERCE PLATFORM

Recadi Technologies designed and developed a commerce platform for Okumhlophe, combining online retail, last-mile delivery and flexible weekly payment options in one customer experience.

Client

Who The Organisation Is

Okumhlophe is a Microsoft-funded venture that engaged Recadi Technologies to design and develop its e-commerce platform.

The platform brings product purchasing, customer account applications, delivery and weekly repayment options together in one digital experience.

The Operational Challenge

What Needed Solving

The business needed more than a conventional online catalogue. Its operating model also includes last-mile delivery and a weekly payment option for customers.

Customers need to submit a series of documents when opening an account, creating a need for a structured onboarding and administration workflow.

The Solution

What Recadi Delivered

Recadi Technologies designed and developed an e-commerce platform that supports the full customer journey from browsing products through purchasing and delivery.

The platform supports once-off purchases as well as weekly payment options, while the administrative console gives the business visibility across customers, products and orders.

The customer and admin experiences work together so that account applications, supporting documents, fulfilment and last-mile delivery can be managed as part of the same operation.

Implementation

How It Fits The Operation

The platform was designed around the relationship between customer-facing commerce and the operational workflows required to fulfil orders and manage accounts.

Separate customer and admin experiences support product discovery, customer applications, catalogue management and operational oversight without treating e-commerce as an isolated storefront.

These screenshots show the Okumhlophe e-commerce platform and administration console in a presentation environment. Customer names, email addresses, account details and other identifying information have been redacted. Figures and records shown are representative demo data and do not reflect live client records.

What This Demonstrates

The Capability Proven

This project demonstrates Recadi's ability to design and develop commerce platforms around a specific operating model, including fulfilment, customer onboarding and flexible payment workflows.

It also shows how a digital product can connect the customer experience to the operational systems needed behind it.
