PARLIAMENT OF RSA
MEETING HUB
One destination for every parliamentary meeting. Recadi built the centralised hub that brings meetings into a single searchable, watchable, shareable platform across YouTube, Facebook and X.
From scattered streams
to one public hub
Parliamentary sittings, committee hearings, briefings and public events were historically broadcast across multiple YouTube channels, making it difficult for the public, media and staff to search, filter or revisit content.
Recadi was engaged to design and build a centralised meeting hub where every parliamentary meeting lands automatically, can be searched by topic, speaker or date, watched on the user's preferred platform, and saved as a favourite for live alerts.
BUILT FOR PUBLIC
ENGAGEMENT
A focused interface for citizens, journalists and staff. Browse the full meeting library, filter by status, date or committee, and jump straight into the player on the platform of your choice.
WHAT THE HUB
DELIVERS
Centralised Meeting Hub
Instead of scattering parliamentary meetings across YouTube channels, every meeting now lands in one organised hub with status, schedule, and context.
Powerful Search & Filters
Citizens, journalists and staff can search by topic, speaker, committee, date range and time, then filter by live, upcoming, or completed status to instantly find the meeting that matters.
Multi-Platform Playback
Each meeting links directly to its YouTube, Facebook and X stream or recording, so users watch on whichever platform they prefer without leaving the hub.
Favourites & Smart Alerts
Users can favourite topics, committees or speakers, then receive notifications the moment a related meeting goes live or is scheduled.
Live & Upcoming Panel
A dedicated live indicator and upcoming meetings panel keep audiences informed about what is on air now and what is coming next.
Government-Grade Reliability
Built to the operational and security standards expected by a national legislature, with stable performance during high-traffic events such as SONA and budget speeches.
